The claims have come as the pop star prepares to appear virtually in court on Wednesday as she bid to end her conservatorship.
The New York Times has discovered in 2016 court documents that Britiney's dad had extreme "control" over her and she has expressed "serious opposition" to it continuing.
She has claimed that she was not allowed to make any decisions for herself and that her dad "restricted everything from whom she dated to the colour of her kitchen cabinets." A court
