Britain's Got Talent star Paula Moulton has sadly died after a battle with MRSA, a superbug which she was suffering from for years.The news of the performer's death was announced on the Strictly Wheels Facebook page, where they shared a statement announcing her "sudden" death. "We are devastated to announce the sudden passing of our co-founder Paula," it read. "Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this extremely sad time. "Paula's legacy will always live in our memories from her utter joy of dance." Fans took to the comments to share their sadness at the news, with many remembering Paula's fabulous dancing skills.
One person posted: "Oh no so sad I had the opportunity to meet Paula she was kind and thoughtful." "I am so sorry to hear this.
My condolences," another wrote. "So sorry to hear this, Paula was amazing on BGT. RIP," a third person shared. While a fourth fan said: "Rest in peace Paula, loved her on BGT." Paula set the stage on fire with her incredible wheelchair dances on the ITV competition in 2012.
Performing as part of the dance group Strictly Wheels with her friend Gary Lyness, Paula was a firm favourite with viewers and judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams throughout the series.
