Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.
Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Britain’s Got Talent act Jon Courtenay made it through to the final after he left judges in tears of laughter. The musical comedian had the judges in stitches with a hilarious song written about his childhood.

BGT judges Ashley Banjo, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden had to choose between Jon, Jasper Cherry and Belinda Davids, a singer from South Africa.

Amanda, Ashley and David chose Jon to go through to the final, while Alesha picked singer Belinda. Jon’s song called When I Was a Boy was packed with one-liners and “bad dad jokes” that wowed the judges.

The comic took a moment to poke fun at Simon Cowell who was absent as he recovers from a broken back and joked about Ant and Dec’s forehead.
