A stranded Brit has told of life in coronavirus -plagued Italy – where capital city Rome has been left “hauntingly empty”. Journalist Hannah Dodd told the Daily Mirror how world-famous Roman ruins were sealed to the public after Italy was put in a full lockdown.
She revealed that some loved-up couples were even banned from holding hands.
