A leading British event rider was horrifically crushed under her one-ton horse and suffered life-changing injuries. Anna Tomson has been placed in a medically induced coma and has been on a ventilator since May 17 when she was trapped beneath the animal after being thrown from the saddle.
Her horse, spooked by five off-road motorcycles, landed on top of her, causing 'serious and life-changing injuries', according to Thames Valley Police.
