BREAKING: Man in his 60s dies after horror M60 lorry crash

One man has tragically died following a horror collision between a lorry and multiple cars on the M60 last night. Emergency services were called to the M60 between junctions 15 and 16 at around 7pm on Thursday (March 21).

Police believe the lorry, described as a white cab and blue trailer, had lost control and collided with two vehicles before crossing into the opposing carriageway and colliding with a further two vehicles.

Officers have now confirmed a man in his 60s, the driver of one of the vehicles, has sadly died. A woman in her 20s also suffered serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
