Manchester City fans staged a protest against the club over ticketing issues in the opening nine minutes of their Premier League clash vs Leicester.
City fans are unhappy at various issues over tickets at the Etihad, from third-party re-sale partners like Viagogo, away fans obtaining tickets in home ends, a potential season ticket price rise, and other concerns over season ticket availability and a lack of engagement between club and supporters.
Before the game there was around 100 fans outside the Colin Bell Stand engaging in a number of songs as they protested about a number of ticketing decisions at the club.
Fans held up a banner which read: ‘For the love, not the money'. The protest moved inside the stadium as fans boycotted the first nine minutes of the match, which is why there were plenty of empty seats on display when Jack Grealish opened the scoring in the second minute.
