George Clooney has revealed why his wife, Amal, wasn’t at the premiere of his Broadway debut, “Good Night, and Good Luck” in NYC on Thursday.Clooney, 63, told reporters that Amal, 47, wasn’t there because “she’s with the kids.” He did not explain why the couple didn’t hire a babysitter, since that’s presumably what they did in the past when Amal has frequently attended various premieres and events with him.
The couple, who share 7-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, moved to New York temporarily to support George during his time in the show.
He wrote and stars in the project, which is based off the 2005 movie of the same name. Clooney also directed, co-wrote, and starred in the movie, along with Robert Downey Jr., Frank Langella, Jeff Daniels, Patricia Clarkson and David Strathairn.The story is about legendary journalist and news anchor Edward R.
