Brave Dumfries teenager Pagan Mitchell is vowing to battle through the pain barrier of a broken leg to carry on delivering food parcels.The 13-year-old has just has scooped a national award for that work in the community and told how she’s desperate to return to Dumfries Y Gymnastics Club and her deliveries despite the injury.Pagan, from Millburn Avenue, was voted Scottish Gymnastics’ community impact award winner after volunteering at the Aberlour family support service to help with the vulnerable and elderly.She said: “It is nice to win the award.
