Boy, 16, ‘glassed by far right activists’ searched by police after asking for help

A teenage boy 'glassed by anti-Black Lives Matter thugs' says he was stopped and searched by police after being brutally attacked.

The 16-year-old - identified only by his first name Gerard - claims he was stabbed with a bottle by far right protesters in London.

He and friends wanted to join the June 13 movement but arrived to see it cancelled after fears of violence increased. He was then set upon by "a whole mob of what appeared to be far-right supporters" and quickly went for help.

But instead of initially coming to his aid, the boy said police were more interested in what he had in his pockets. "He did look for injuries but he also stopped and searched me," Gerard told  Channel 4 News. "He seemed a bit wary of me at the same time,"
