Bothwell residents woken by council's grass cutting team at 6am

iOS - Android Similarly, at the opposite end of Knockburnie Road on Monday morning, council staff were in a tractor style lawnmower cutting the grass at Jack's Lane from 6.20am until just after 7am.Questions have since been asked as to whether or not the council team should in fact be causing such noise pollution that early in the morning.

One resident told Lanarkshire Live : "I was very abruptly awoken on Monday morning by a loud chundering sound from the park. "I initially thought it was noise from the nearby industrial estate and maybe the lorries starting up, but the noise just kept getting louder and seemed to be getting closer."So I looked out the window and couldn't believe my eyes.
