Jamie Lang Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of Banijay Entertainment, has announced its documentary series “Bosé Renacido,” which translates to “Bosé Reborn,” the most-watched non-fiction format in the history of Spain’s Movistar Plus+ platform, will feature in the company’s Content Americas 2025 lineup.
The Miami-based market takes place next week. Produced by Shine Iberia (Banijay Iberia) for Movistar Plus+ in Spain, the four-part documentary explores the extraordinary life and career of Miguel Bosé, one of Latin music’s most influential figures. “Bosé Renacido” delves deeply into the singer’s personal and professional journeys and will take viewers through pivotal moments of Bosé’s life, from his childhood within his renowned family to his rise to international stardom.
It also explores his journey into fatherhood and his current life in Mexico. Through intimate and exclusive access, the documentary reveals both the man behind the music and the artist behind the fame.
Miguel Bosé’s career spans nearly five decades, during which he has sold over 30 million records worldwide and starred in landmark films like Pedro Almodóvar’s “High Heels.” Born in Panama City to actress Lucia Bosé and renowned bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín, Bosé was raised in an environment rich in culture and art, surrounded by family friends such as Pablo Picasso and Ernest Hemingway.
