Boris Johnson has branded a suspected terror attack in a park in Reading that is feared to have left three people dead "appalling".
The Prime Minister has responded as counter-terrorism officers swooped on the Berkshire town after the bloody rampage in Forbury Gardens at about 7pm on Saturday.
A security source said a suspect who was arrested is a Libyan man and the motive is suspected to be terror-related, while another source said the alleged knifeman was "rugby tackled" to the ground by a hero police officer.
