Irvine beach.Paramedics arrived at the boating pond shortly after 2pm yesterday and found the teen who had been indulging in underage drinking in the area that day with a group of teens.It is believed the youngster was drinking Buckfast with a group of friends before taking unwell.The intoxicated teen was given emergency assistance by a Coastwatch volunteer while waiting for paramedics to arrive.Police confirmed today that they received a report of a group of youths underage drinking, and a 15-year-old girl having taken unwell, on Irvine Beach.Emergency services attended and the girl was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.Cops in Irvine are now urging parents to warn kids about the dangers of underage drinking.Sergeant Allan Glass
