BILLY Connolly has today hinted at an acting return - despite quitting stand-up comedy due to his Parkinson’s battle. The comic, 77, went public with his diagnosis of the degenerative condition in 2013.
Then earlier this month Billy said his condition had worsened to the point he felt he was unable to continue stand up. However, today he revealed he would consider returning to the screen, and would even be open to playing a character with Parkinson's.
Billy told The Scotsman: "I'd maybe act again if a nice thing came up. I'd definitely mull it over. I don't have anything in mind, but I'd definitely mull it over if I was asked.
