Billy Connolly is considering a return to acting despite living with Parkinson’s disease. The comedian’s last major film role was What We Did On Our Holiday, released in 2014.
But the 77-year-old said he may return to the screen, even playing a character with the condition. Sir Billy said: “I’d maybe act again if a nice thing came up.
I met a writer who wanted me to play a guy with Parkinson’s in a film. "I said ‘sure, I’ll do that’. But I think the whole project has fallen through.” Last week he confirmed he was “finished” with stand-up comedy.
