Beat The Chasers viewers were left ‘pulling out their hair’ after Tuesday night’s instalment of the ITV game show. Commotion kicked off on social media when Lucky Luigi from Ormskirk lost out on a life-changing £100,000 by just one mere second.

The likable contestant wowed viewers when he scored £2,000 in the opening round. Luigi admitted that he "didn’t have a clue" what the right answers were, and instead chanced his arm at guessing – which worked out extremely well for him.

When it came to the next round, was offered £2,000 to play against two players, £20,000 for three, £50,000 for four, and £100k to play against all five.
