Tim Roth (The Hateful Eight) has signed up to play Henry Kissinger in a “mostly true” story of the former U.S. secretary of state’s role in the Vietnam peace talks, with sales launching at Cannes.
Roth will be joined by a cast that includes Robin Wright (House of Cards), Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds), Lucy Hale (Truth or Dare), David Cross (Arrested Development), Jimmy O.
Yang (Crazy Rich Asians), Rob Corddry (Childrens Hospital), and Dylan Penn (Who Invited Charlie?). Kissinger Takes Paris is written and directed by Jeff Stanzler.
Claude Dal Farra and Brian Keady of BCDF Pictures (To Leslie) are producing alongside Stanzler. CAA Media Finance and Concourse Media are co-representing domestic rights, with Concourse handling international.
