The One Show's Harry Judd has paid tribute to The Wanted's Tom Parker following his death at 33, saying he was "incredibly brave".Singer Tom died on Wednesday at the age of 33, a year and a half after he revealed that he was battling a brain tumour.His passing has sparked an outpouring of grief from friends and fans, and McFly star Harry opened up about his sadness as the BBC show got under way.Harry's co-host Alex Jones said they wanted to start by talking about the sad news."He was on The One Show not so long ago and of course, Harry, this is really sad news for you this afternoon because you knew him well, didn't you?" she asked.The McFly drummer said he did and that he was sending love to Tom's wife Kelsey and their two young children."It's desperately sad, Al," he said."It really is and Tom was just the loveliest guy, so charismatic and incredibly brave and positive throughout the process he went through."Alex said while she didn't know Tom well "you can't fail to be touched by the news", adding that it was "awfully sad".Tom shared in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with cancer and that his tumour was inoperable.He kept fans on social media updated with his progress and had been determined to defy the odds.His wife Kelsey announced he had died in a moving Instagram post, sharing a snap of Tom and another of the couple together with their children."It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side," she wrote."Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.
