BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers issue final complaint as 2024 winners crowned

Strictly Come Dancing viewers did have one complaint about the final, despite it being another spectacular night in the famous TV ballroom.

Chris McCausland, who made history as Strictly's first blind winner, and dancer Dianne Buswell beat Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to be crowned the 2024 series champions.

After months of dancing, comedian Chris was praised for his three routines – which included the couple’s favourite dance, their final show dance and the routine best enjoyed by the judges - before he lifted the Glitterball trophy with his pro partner. His second routine featured different dance styles to You Get What You Give by New Radicals, and he also recreated his viral "blackout moment" for the first dance.
