BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'mark my words' in Pete Wicks statement

Strictly Come Dancing fans have issued a clear prediction about Pete Wicks' future in the competition. The hit dance show's final is now a mere couple of weeks away with the couples making the semi-final now confirmed.

The BBC One dance contest reached its quarter-final stage over the weekend and the live show on Saturday night (November 30) also marked Strictly's Musicals Week, the last special of the 2024 series ahead of the grand final in just a couple of weeks time.

The live show saw the six remaining couples performing to a song from a well-known stage show with the choices this year including Wicked, SIX, Mary Poppins and West Side Story. READ MORE: BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans issue JB Gill and Lauren Oakley complaint as body part causes problem On the night, finishing bottom of the rankings were reality TV star Pete and his professional partner Jowita Przystal, who scored 26 out of a possible 40 for their waltz to Somewhere from West Side Story, with Pete saying "I’m so sorry" to Jowita after finishing the routine, in which they portrayed Tony and Maria.

Anton Du Beke said of the dance: "It is a classic waltz. It was a beautiful moment, really. I’m not going to get over-critical on you, because it was a bit of a disaster down there, I don’t want to dwell on this disaster.
