Strictly Come Dancing fans have issued their verdict on the 2024 run of the hit show - and spotted the moment that 'summed up' the grand final.

The BBC One dance contest came to an end for another year on Saturday night (December 14) in a spectacular last live show which saw Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell crowned the 20th-anniversary series champions.

Chris, who made history as Strictly's first blind winner, and dancer Dianne beat Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to lift the famous Glitterball trophy. It also marks the first win for Dianne, who has made it to the final with social media star Joe Sugg in 2018, and Eastenders actor and model Bobby Brazier in 2023.
