Strictly Come Dancing fans briefly thought they were watching a popular ITV show as Tasha Ghouri was given a moving surprise during the final.

The former Love Island star made it through to the end of the BBC One dance contest with her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec after having to fight for their place during last weekend's semi-final where they landed in the dance-off for a second week in a row.

As the final got underway, Tasha was hailed as "quite possibly" the best Strictly dancer the show has ever seen after she performed a couple’s choice routine to What About Us by P!nk.

She and dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec were given 39 points from the judges following Craig Revel Horwood saying he would have liked "more from the pair".
