Strictly Come Dancing fans said they were left 'infuriated' as they issued a complaint about Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell's latest performance - but it wasn't because of anything they did.

The comedian has been praised for performing a dance featuring a "poignant" blackout moment, imitating his own experience with blindness, during the latest live show on Saturday night (November 9).

Chris 47, and his dance partner Dianne Buswell, 36, closed the week eight live show with their couple’s choice to Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) by John Lennon.

Towards the end of the dance Chris could be seen placing his hands over Dianne's eyes as the room faded to black, the lights coming up moments later to show the comedian spinning around with Buswell on his shoulders, pyrotechnics flaring in the background.
