Strictly Come Dancing fans were left crying out in support of Chris McCausland as one of the show's latest move sparked complaints.

The comedian reached a personal 'goal' last weekend alongside dance partner Dianne Buswell during the epic Blackpool special.

Chris, 47, revealed that while many of the couples wanted to make it through to the special week, which sees the show broadcast live from the world-famous Tower Ballroom, he and Dianne, 35, wanted to make it to one week beyond the seaside jaunt for a special reason.

Making it through to week ten of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (November 23) meant that Dianne's parents, Rina and Mark, were able to see her perform live in the Strictly ballroom for the first time ever after she joined the hit show seven years ago having made the long trip over from Australia.
