Chris McCausland has issued an off-screen dig at one of the Strictly Come Dancing judges after lying to them live on the show.

The comedian is currently back in training as he prepares not just one but two dances for the show's semi-final. Chris has made it to the penultimate week of the BBC One dance contest alongside his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell.

The pair were seen taking part in the quarter-final of the show over the weekend, which was also Strictly's Musicals Week special, as they performed a quickstep to You’re The Top from Anything Goes.

It was then confirmed during Strictly's latest results show on Sunday (December 1) that Chris, who is Strictly's first-ever blind contestant, and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell had made it through to upcoming semi-final, which takes place this Saturday (December 7).
