Pete Wicks may be in for another shock this weekend as despite admitting he's not the 'best dancer' left in Strictly Come Dancing, he looks set to stay in the competition.
Last weekend, the reality star and podcast host kicked off the latest live show with an elegant tango. Dressed in an all-black suit, Pete guided and dipped his professional partner, Jowita Przystal, across the dancefloor to Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins.
The performance landed them a score of 29 out of a possible 40 points from the judges and it was then confirmed during the latest results show that Pete and Jowita had made it through to the quarter-final of the BBC One dance contest. And now, Pete has been given a huge boost ahead of this week’s Strictly quarter-final. Research from SlotsCalendar has revealed that the Waltz has been responsible for just one of the last 71 eliminations, dating back to 2018, making it statistically one of the safety routines to perform in the show.
