BBC EastEnders fans 'disgusted' as Reiss reaches new low while visiting Debbie's body
ok.co.ukEastEnders fans have been left feeling sickened by Reiss Colwell's latest antics on the popular BBC One soap.The character of Reiss, played by Johnny Freeman, has been struggling with financial issues recently, after falling behind on his wife Debbie's care home bills.
Fans will remember that Debbie ended up in a coma following a stroke she suffered while in the bath. With his partner Sonia Fowler, portrayed by Natalie Cassidy, expecting a baby, the pressure on Reiss has only increased.
However, he took a shocking step last week when he killed Debbie. Adding to his list of wrongdoings, Reiss has also swindled Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) out of thousands of pounds recently.
He tricked them with a lie about a bogus investment scheme for their business, which Sharon fell for. However, in Monday's episode (July 29), which was released early on iPlayer, Reiss found himself confronted by Phil, who demanded to see his money.
