Actor Sam Denia is taking on the role made famous by Michael Crawford, and Jane was there to get an early look at the production.However, it was during a tour of the set with a crew member that the hilarity ensued.
As he assured her of the set's sturdiness, saying "He's done a lot of work, as you can see, on the house. Everything is as solid as a rock," he inadvertently dislodged several pieces of the banister.
