‘Baby Reindeer’ Outfit Francesca Moody Productions Inks First-Look TV Deal With Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Wells Street Films
deadline.comFrancesca Moody Productions (FMP), the Olivier Award-winning production company behind the stage versions of Baby Reindeer and Fleabag, has signed a first-look deal with Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s Wells Street Films.
The deal runs over two years and gives Waller-Bridge’s company the first opportunity to develop FMP’s productions for television.
Wells Street Films is currently under a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios. Waller-Bridge and FMP head Francesca Moody know each other well.
The pair first collaborated in 2013 at the Edinburgh Fringe on the stage production of Fleabag directed by Vicky Jones. Moody went on to produce stage productions of Fleabag around the world on behalf of Jones and Waller-Bridge’s DryWrite, most recently at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
