Jamie Redknapp has claimed that giving Liverpool the Premier League title without finishing all the fixtures would "cause chaos" because of the precedent it would set for the rest of teams.
The Reds are currently 25 points clear of second-placed Manchester City and it seems almost inevitable that they will finish top of the table if the rest of the games are played.
However, the situation is a lot less clear when it comes to European qualification and relegation, with Aston Villa holding a game in hand over the likes of Watford and West Ham and able to move out of the bottom three if they win that match.
There is a similar situation in the race for Champions League qualification, with Manchester United two points above Sheffield United
