There have been multiple casualties after a large explosion at a warehouse near Bristol. Emergency services were called to the scene in Avonmouth, a port area to the north west of the city, at around 11.20am and are still looking for people.
Eye-witnesses reported ‘at least ten ambulances’ rushing to what has been described as a serious incident. The fire service told Bristol Live there have been multiple casualties, but were unable to give more information at this point.
