Aston Villa have been utterly box-office in this summer’s transfer window. The B6 club has already wrapped up Emi Buendia’s signings from Norwich, Leon Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen, and Danny Ings from Southampton’s fellow Premier League club.
The club rubber-stamped their ambition by bringing the England international forward to Villa Park; As reported, Ings was pushing for a move to a club playing in Europe.
With these three signings, it is clear Villa boss Dean Smith is preparing his squad to replace the output of their talisman Jack Grealish, who joined Manchester City for an English record £100million transfer fee.
