The England international joined City in a British-record move last week and made his debut as a substitute just two days later in the Community Shield defeat against Leicester City at Wembley Stadium.
City were without several first-team regulars including Grealish 's England teammates Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and John Stones.
Grealish took part early on to get a head-start on his new chapter, featuring for 20 minutes after one training session with his new side.
