ASHES to Ashes star Dean Andrews has admitted his frustrations at not yet playing a more central role in Emmerdale - and hopes that will soon change now he’s being given meatier storylines.
Since joining last spring, Dean - who plays ex-convict Will Taylor - has been something of a peripheral figure, often popping in and out of the soap.
But now his character is mired in a revenge plot involving his former gang-master, bent cop DI Malone, the 56-year-old hopes it will be the start of him becoming a more prominent cast member.
