While the opulent 19th-century Cowdray House can host up to 150 people, with more in the park, these days only 30 people are currently permitted to attend weddings under government restrictions.
Writing an article for the Spectator in January this year, Bonas said, “I always imagined I’d have a small wedding, until I realised our two families alone come to 120 people.”.
