City are closing in on the signing of Nathan Ake after Bournemouth accepted a £40m bid for the Dutchman. It is just the first piece of business Pep Guardiola prepares to conclude in the early stages of the transfer market.
But departures are expected and Stones looks set to become one of the first. The Catalan coach has lost faith with the former Everton defender and has regularly dropped him to the bench.
