The Gunners head across London to take on newly promoted Fulham at Craven Cottage. Martinez has been the club's No 1 for several months having taken over from Bernd Leno.
The German's starting spot had been unchallenged but Martinez's performances saw calls for Arteta to retain him in goal having deputised impressively.
But Leno, who has been injured since Arsenal loss to Brighton on June 20, has been named to start on his comeback from injury.
