Arsenal have made Atletico Madrid star Thomas Partey a “transfer priority” ahead of the transfer window. The Gunners have been linked with the midfielder for several months as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his options.
With 35 appearances this season, the Ghanaian is into his fifth season at the Wanda Metropolitano but is rumoured to want an exit.
And Mundo Deportivo have reported that Arsenal are “especially” keen to sign Partey, who is a “priority objective” this summer.
But it would cost the north London side €50m, a fee that would have to be paid in full by Arsenal or organise a pay schedule.The fee is regarded as tempting to the Gunners – but it will also be seen that way by other clubs such as Juventus.
