Emile Smith Rowe has told Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta he wants to be the next Mesut Ozil - and Arsenal's answer to Kevin de Bruyne.
The 19-year-old has impressed during his 10 games for Huddersfield Town during his temporary spell at the John Smith's Stadium, with Terriers boss Danny Cowley playing him in the No10 position.
Smith Rowe has told Arteta he is eyeing the same spot for the Gunners next season - and with Ozil's future unclear as he enters the final year of his contract, the teenager could get his wish.
England under-20 international Smith Rowe, who has made 12 appearances for Arsenal, says he has learned a lot from Ozil in training as he targets a regular first-team place under Arteta.
