Arsenal or Manchester United will need to pay £45m for Thomas Partey if they want to sign him, though Atletico Madrid reportedly hope to raise that price.
The two Premier League giants have both been linked with a move for the midfielder, who has regularly impressed in La Liga. He is under contract with Atletico until 2023, though currently has a release clause of €50m (£45m).
Though Atletico are believed to be eager to get the 26-year-old to sign a new deal in the Spanish capital that would include a higher release clause.
AS claim that Atletico want Partey to sign up to a mega-money contract with a release clause of €100m (£93m). Gunners fans recently bombarded Partey with transfer messages after he returned to Twitter.
