The pair got married on June 8, 2021 and ended up staying together for just over a year. Back in March Nick and Danielle revealed they'd been going to couples counselling for almost their entire marriage, with Nick telling PEOPLE: "We're in couples counselling and we have been now, for almost the entire time since we've finished [the show]".Danielle added: "[We] continuously grow every day by benefiting from therapy."While the Love Is Blind: After the Altar episodes for season two showed the couple still together, just days before the trailer for the episodes dropped it was revealed that they had filed for divorce.

Danielle filed for divorce from Nick on August 15 this year, with their split happening after they had filmed for After the Altar.
