The Apprentice’s fired candidate Francesca Kennedy Wallbank has reflected on her time in the BBC show, comparing the house the candidates stayed in to the Love Island villa.The 26 year old budding business woman, who became the latest to leave the process after a crucial spelling mistake, opened up about how she and her fellow contestants spent their downtime away from the cameras. Francesca told OK! and other press outlets that she couldn’t help but think the sprawling mansion they moved into was like Love Island, as they enjoyed group workout sessions to let off steam when filming had stopped.

The Apprentice bosses have responded following eliminated contestant Navid Sole's claims that he was bullied during filming.The 27 year old pharmacist alleged he was left in tears after a fellow contestant on the BBC One series called him a "snake" and a "clown" after a failed task, with producers not stepping in to check on his welfare. Navid, who was given the boot on Thursday's episode, told The Mirror that the bullying "affected his performance on the whole show". However, a spokesperson for the show has now told the publication: "The wellbeing of the candidates who take part in The Apprentice is of paramount importance." Lord Sugar's firing finger in the boardroom, and The Apprentice fans have now spotted a clever way to see just how long the famous boardroom scenes take to film.Lord Sugar could be seen wearing an expensive watch during the most recent episode, which saw pharmacist Navid Sole become the third contestant to be fired.Fans quickly spotted that his watch revealed how long the board and the contestants spent in the boardroom, with the time on Lord Sugar's watch saying 1.20pm as the meeting got underway.However while discussing the team tasks, viewers noticed that Lord Sugar was still talking to the contestants at 5.30pm - more than four hours later.When Navid Sole was fired from the boardroom, more time had passed again, with Lord Sugar's watch showing the time of 6.45pm - definitely a long day for the contestants and the boardroom panel.Fans also noticed that the time of day had passed significantly too, with daytime passing into evening throughout the five hour meeting.However this is not the first time that the long boardroom meetings have been noticed, with Lord Sugar himself addressing the long filming hours in 2019.He also revealed that the boardroom scenes are heavily edited for the programme, telling The Sun: "We've seen it all.
