Anthony Martial may have scored Manchester United ’s opening goal on Sunday but one incident with Ederson has left Ryan Giggs criticising his actions.
The France intentional charged down the Brazilian’s poor touch in the second-half that could have led to a crucial second goal, but ended up worse off after his counterpart slid in to clear.
Giggs has suggested that the 24-year-old could have led with his right foot instead of his left, which could have helped him avoid a nasty injury on his shin.
The Wales boss claimed that trying to block to clearance would have been a better option, despite Scott McTominay’s late strike securing all three points.
