Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly didn't hold back as the duo took aim at Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell. The duo, who work with Simon on a regular occasion, couldn't help but bring him into their latest poltergeist snippet on Saturday Night Takeaway - and fans love it.As they were in the devil's home with a mission, they hid by the phone away from two evil ghosts, just as the phone began to ring and a message was left on the answering machine. The message was from none other than Simon himself, leaving Ant and Dec utterly flabbergasted as they were confused as to why the ITV favourite was calling the devil. The duo turned to one another and asked: "Why is the most evil man in the world calling the devil?"Fans couldn't help but chuckle at the savage quip, with one person writing: "Ant and Dec taking digs at Simon Cowell is my favourite thing."While another said: "Simon Cowell doing a deal with the devil."A third said: "You watch, Simon Cowell will be there in a minute."However, Simon did not actually pop up on screen and instead, a ghost version of Florence Nightingale cropped up on screen instead.

While fans were happy to see - or hear - Simon make a rare appearance, the same can't be said for the poltergeist segment, which definitely has some viewers torn.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "Love this show, but I can do without the ghost c**p. Just makes me cringe." While another said: "I really don't like the poltergeist stuff." However, the poltergeist segments won't continue for too much longer, with Ant and Dec confirming that they were at the penultimate episode before the series comes to a close.
