direct to your inboxDevelopers have launched the next phase of £4bn regeneration of north Manchester which will see hundreds of new homes built in Collyhurst.After years of false dawn, last month a planning application was submitted for a 244 new homes in a new neighbourhood dubbed Collyhurst Village following a consultation process with local residents.Today (Friday) a new consultation process started into plans to create another 30 homes in an adjacent new neighbourhood called South Collyhurst.The two proposed north Manchester neighbourhoods are at the heart of the Northern Gateway regeneration project, now said to be worth £4bn in the coming decades.Manchester City Council has entered into a joint venture with Hong Kong-based developer.
