A Scots MP is calling for clarity amid claims vital PPE is not being sent to carers in Scotland. Some of Britain's largest manufacturers of the kit are not sending it north of the border, according to a Scots care chief.
Speaking to BBC Radio Scotland Chief executive of Scottish Care Dr Donald Macaskill said manufacturers are prioritising supplies to frontline English workers battling the coronavirus.Aberdeen North SNP MP Stephen Flynn has now penned a letter to health secretary Mike Hancock to see what action could be taken.He said: "This news is deeply alarming and I think everyone will find it hard to fathom that the four largest PPE suppliers in the UK are reportedly refusing to send equipment to Scotland – it truly is astonishing.“E
