The owner of a popular restaurant in Ancoats has spoken out about the dramatic rise in energy prices after facing a £900 a month increase.

The Hip Hop Chip Shop tweeted yesterday that it was facing a huge jump in the cost of business energy rates. The Blossom Street business said on Twitter that it won't even be able to afford to make chips with such a sudden rise in costs.
