Amber Heard is set to appear in two movies following her loss in the bitter defamation lawsuit against ex-husband Johnny Depp.
The 36-year-old Aquaman actress was ordered to pay $15million (£12million) to her former husband after the jury found unanimously in his favour following a gruelling six-week trial.But while some may have predicted a rapid decline in Amber's career, the actress already has two movies lined up for herself.
According to Macra, the star finished shooting her first movie, In The Fire, before the trial commenced. Set in the 1800s and directed by Conor Allyn, the movie will see Amber playing a North American psychiatrist who heads to a remote plantation to take care of a boy with 'special abilities'.It is not known when the movie will be released.
Meanwhile, she is also set to feature in Run Away With Me.The upcoming flick depicts an American who falls in love with a model in Paris before they go on to discover the 'criminal underworld' of the European modelling industry.The world watched on as Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny won his case against his ex-wife on June 1.They were at loggerheads after he took the Aquaman star to court in Fairfax, Virginia, claiming she defamed him in a 2018 opinion piece published by The Washington Post.
