It is believed problems started in Thursday afternoon and continued into this morning. Specific broadband issues with only certain internet providers appeared to be triggering problems.
More than 2,000 customers logged complaints since glitches were first found. Users in London, Brighton and Bristol are understood to be the worst hit, however reports of issues have also been logged as far north as Aberdeen, reports the Sun.
